Is EverThread free?
No. EverThread is planned as a one-time $9.99 purchase. That model fits the product: ownership over subscription pressure.
Do I need an account?
No. EverThread is designed without a required login. Your archive lives locally by default.
Does EverThread collect analytics?
No. EverThread does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or crash reporting SDKs.
Does AI data leave my phone?
Only when you select a provider that requires it. Apple Intelligence runs on device where supported. Ollama runs on a machine you control. Anthropic, OpenAI, and custom backends receive active conversation context when selected.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export creates a plain JSON archive of memories, conversations, and threads.
What happens if I delete the app?
Deleting EverThread removes the app and local app data from that device. Copies may remain if you exported your data or included app data in device/iCloud backups.
